PSLS 3440 Sales – juniors

The class will be starting to really discuss their first role-plays around this time in the semester. This is the intro class, so most of the students have not role-played before, nor had any customer interactions (real or simulated). We will be going through the “process” of selling in the class and talking about the components that are important to a sales call (e.g. rapport, opening, questioning, etc.). The class will likely be curious how a sales call and conversation with customers work in real life. Also, tips regarding how to dialogue most effectively would be helpful.

Target speaker is someone who meets with customers regularly face-to-face (i.e. an outside salesperson). As a backup, someone who trains salespeople to meet with customers (e.g. a sales manager) would work as well, particularly if they have good experience themselves personally meeting with customers.
