PSLS 4740 Advanced Sales – seniors

The class will be in the middle of a unit that talks about how individual differences (such as personality, social styles, and emotional intelligence) can impact interpersonal interactions and a career as a whole. We will also look at strategies to leverage individual strengths, and strategies to read other individuals with the goal of improving effectiveness in interactions. The students will be taking their own personality and emotional intelligence assessments during the unit. A speaker who can talk about how they have seen such individual differences manifest during their own career and/or a speaker who works for a firm that deliberately hires for certain personality/emotional intelligence traits would also be particularly interesting.
