UTISC Sponsor - Schindler Elevator - Katie Nagle, Inside Sales Manager, and Nate Csehi, Inside Sales Supervisor and ESSPS Alum

PSLS 3440 Sales – juniors

This is the first class in the sales major so many of the students have not been in the sales world/mindset for very long, if at all. A speaker who conveys the importance of networking throughout their career and as early as college would be helpful. Additionally, information about the logistics and actual practice of how networking works and what it looks like would be useful to students. This particular class period is just a few days before the career fair and a few weeks before the ESSPS Networking Night event, so networking skill development should be salient to the students at this time. As such, a few tips regarding the particular context of a career fair or school networking event may be helpful to students.

Target speaker is someone with experience networking; may be particularly helpful if the person has formal networking events on a regular basis and/or has a specific, deliberate personal networking strategy.

Online via ESSPS Zoom is also an option for the speaker
